Dr Akinsola (Sola) Akinbiyi – Consultant Psychiatrist


Dr. Akinsola Akinbiyi is a skilled psychiatrist who prides himself in treating individuals and families holistically and compassionately. His practice is family-friendly, and his door is always open to valued patients. Dr. Akinbiyi has broad experience in the field, including treating adolescent and geriatric patients, and he is especially adept in adult and cross-cultural psychiatry. His vast knowledge of the practice makes him a valued asset at WASS. He takes all aspects of his patients’ care seriously and will consult by phone with GPs, work on TAC/WorkCover cases and collaborate with mental health nurses to make sure all facets of treatment are properly addressed.

Dr Rajul Tandon – Consultant Psychiatrist


Dr Tandon is an experienced adult psychiatrist. also has an interest in psychiatric research. He has worked as a senior research fellow many years). Dr Tandon has experience in treating a wide array of clinical psychiatric `conditions in adults including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety, OCD, PTSD, brief psychosis, schizophrenia, delusional disorder, and personality disorders.
In his spare time, he likes to read about historical geology, run and spend time with family & friends.

Dr Raja Sadhu – Psychiatrist

Dr Raja Sadhu is a consultant psychiatrist currently working with Mercy mental health.
He did his graduation in 2000 from Calcutta University (MBBS) and then finished his post-graduation in Psychiatry from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2004 and completed his senior residency in Psychiatry in 2008.
After completing his training in Psychiatry, he worked as a consultant psychiatrist for a few years before moving to Australia. In Australia, he worked in different services as well as in multiple settings like acute inpatient unit, community clinic, crisis team, mental health rehabilitation unit, prevention and recovery centre, community care unit. He became a fellow of the college (FRANZCP) in 2018.

Ms Claire McCallum – Clinical Psychologist

Claire has over 10 years’ experience practising as a psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is specialized in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. Claire applies an individually-tailored approach to all clients, delivering psychological assessment, treatment and consultancy services to individuals for a range of mental health and social issues, e.g., personality disorder, psychiatric illness, substance dependency, criminal behaviour, mood/anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, grief/loss, stress management, intellectual disability, familial disharmony, adjustment issues, parenting issues, anger management, and many others. She also provides assessment for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations and works closely with various agencies and practitioners including GPs, Psychiatrists, Lawyers, TAC, WorkCover, and VOCAT, as well as public and private health providers.

Ms Victoria Calleja.-. Mental Health Nurse

Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner, RN, RPN, CMHNMs. Victoria Calleja has a valuable combination of impressive education and decades of experience. The combination of formal training and on-the-job-training make her one of WASS’ most seasoned and valuable specialists. She has practiced nursing for over 30 years and has her master’s degree in Nursing Practice as well as postgraduate studies in mental health and primary health nursing. Ms. Calleja prides herself on high professional standards and is a current active member of ACMHN and ACNP. She can work with patients of all ages and all manner of complex needs. Currently Ms. Calleja is working as both a mental health and nurse practitioner.

Mr Godwin Dhliwayo.-. Mental Health Nurse

Godwin Dhliwayo CMHN, RN strives to bring hope and positivity to his patients. He operates from a sense of optimism and a genuine belief that if people get the help, support and resources they need their mental wellbeing will be restored. He has over 15 years of experience in a variety of different settings including forensic, prisons, community and inpatient. Trained in the UK, Mr. Dhliwayo has risen in the ranks over his years and performed the duties of clinician, manager, educator, and nurse consultant. His passion and drive to serve his patients make Godwin Dhliwayo one of WASS’ all-star specialists.

Ms Jennifer Ramboccus.- Mental Health Nurse

Ms. Jennifer Ramboccus CMHN, RN is highly experienced in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient and community work in both the private and public systems.

She is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) and a Registered Nurse (RN) and has per post graduate diploma in advanced clinical nursing-psychiatric nursing. Ms. Ramboccus has a passion for learning and honing her skills, so she’s studied counselling and motivational interviewing to better work with her patients and impact positive results.

Dr Jasmine Grewal – Cardiologist

Dr Jasmin Grewal completed medical school at the University of Auckland and undertook her cardiology training in Melbourne. She has undertaken sub-specialty training in cardiac imaging following a 2-year cardiac imaging fellowship at Austin Health where she trained in echocardiography, CT coronary angiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Her clinical interests include management of heart failure and valvular heart disease, and utility of cardiac imaging modalities. She is also fluent in Malay and Punjabi. Please make sure you have a current referral, so your consult can be Bulk Billed.
